An Italian farmer who made tractors, Ferrucio Lamborghini accumulated incredible wealth. He owned a Ferrari and always had trouble with the clutch when he would take it out for a high speed spin around the block. His service guys were never able to fix the problem, so Lamborghini voiced his displeasure to the man himself: Enzo Ferrari. Ferrari told the farmer he’d never be able to handle that car properly, so he decided to make his own car. Lamborghini now generates roughly $670 million in sales annually.
