- In the 1st quarter of 2020, mental health firms raised a record-breaking $576 million (60% more than any other quarter).
- First-time downloads of the top 20 mental wellness apps were up 29% from January with 4 million downloads in April.
Makes ad-sense. Among the biggest flaws of teletherapy are privacy and data security. Many of these apps share data with 3rd parties.
- Out of the 36 top apps for depression and smoke-quitting, 80% were found to send data to Facebook and Google.
